Need to find the right person to talk to in private?

Counselling is an endeavour that often has a clearer focus than psychotherapy for example a bereavement or particular crisis. The nature of more clearly defined concerns tends to result in a limited number of sessions. It is never possible to know how long it will take to work through an issue/s, therefore we always suggest an initial consultation to talk through what you would like to bring to counselling and at this session you can then talk together with your counsellor about what to do next. Assuming that you both agree that counselling is appropriate we will generally suggest six sessions to begin and then if you are finding them helpful to continue until you agree sessions are no longer necessary.
