His training adopted an integrative approach and so his approach is tailored to what each person needs, having said that finds he often works in a person-centred, humanistic way. "I don't tell you what to think or feel, I try to understand you and your world view as much as possible, accepting you for who you are to help you in the way that you need."
"Mental health is a topic that is not talked about enough and sometimes people find themselves struggling to manage their difficult emotions or unhelpful behaviours. Through counselling, we can explore the problems in our lives in a safe space without any judgement or anyone telling you what to do. The way that I work is very open, trying to create a comfortable space for you, or your child, to talk about what is needed. I am a casual, relaxed person and I work to empower people, putting them in the driver's seat during the counselling sessions so they can exert more control in their lives."
