What to Expect from our Counselling Service

The sessions involve us meeting, talking and listening together with the mutual purpose of paying careful attention to your concerns and gaining a greater understanding of your own particular situation. It is a shared process and the therapeutic relationship can only be nurtured in a safe and dependable environment.

Counselling is an endeavour that often has a clearer focus. The nature of more clearly defined concerns tends to result in a limited number of sessions. It is never possible to know how long it will take to work through an issues, therefore we always suggest to start with six sessions, if you are finding them helpful then we continue.
