Sexual assault and rape

Sexual assault is when a person is forced by another to have sex without their consent. It's critical to remember that if you've been assaulted, it wasn't your fault. Sexual violence is a crime, regardless of who perpetrates it or where it occurs. Don't be frightened to ask for assistance when you need it. Your therapist will be able to work with you to understand better what is happening and together you will be able to find a way forward.
