Sexual orientation indicates which sex an individual is attracted to, this can be emotionally, sexually or both. Understanding your own sexuality and gender and why you are attracted to the same sex, different sex or both sexes can cause emotional pressure and confusion. It is normal to feel confused and unsure about your sexuality during life but it can also lead to feelings of isolation because other difficult feelings can be present - resulting in a belief that it is better not to talk about what is happening.

Speaking to someone who you view as neutral, objective and not currently important in your life can enable you to gain clarity and find ways to find a resolution to the causes of your current struggle. Our therapists have experience and understand the value of therapy for addressing concerns around sexuality and we offer a kind, compassionate and supportive therapeutic relationship.
